What is KIT?
KIT is an extension for Clarity PPM of Contec-X that makes work easier for users.
KIT stands for Configuration and Integration Tool and enables the configuration of interfaces, data imports and exports, the use of Jaspersoft reports, intelligent menus and much more.
KIT consists of 3 modules: smartASSIST, smartINTEGRATOR and smartREPORTING.

What ist KIT?
KIT is a software extension for Clarity PPM, which was developed by Contec-X as a certified partner for Clarity PPM and is constantly being developed further.
KIT consists of 3 components: smartASSIST, smartINTEGRATOR and smartREPORTING.
What can KIT do?
KIT smartASSIST offers every user an individual, dynamic, context-dependent and therefore “intelligent” menu at every point in Clarity. This makes working with Clarity PPM easier and more efficient. KIT smartINTEGRATOR offers extensive and at the same time simple options (keyword low-code) for linking Clarity PPM to other systems or exchanging data with other systems. KIT smartREPORTING seamlessly integrates Jaspersoft reports into the Clarity user interface, allowing you to create and customize perfectly aligned and formatted reports using Jaspersoft Studio.
How is KIT licensed?
KIT is licensed on the basis of an annual usage fee. This license fee allows the use on all Clarity PPM systems (DEV/TEST/PROD) with all functions and features of the licensed module. The usage fee also includes all further developments of the KIT module as well as KIT for each new Clarity PPM version.

What options are there for configuring KIT?
The best and most efficient way to get the most out of KIT is to have it installed and configured by Contec-X Services.
Of course, independent configuration is also possible with the help of the documentation.
Documentation for installation and configuration is included in the scope of delivery.
Contec-X also offers training courses for KIT.
Is KIT upgrade-compatible? And is it ensured that KIT also works with Clarity PPM updates?
Yes, this is guaranteed. For every Clarity PPM version, customers receive a tested and compatible KIT version free of charge as part of the usage fee.
Contec-X is not our service provider for Clarity PPM. Can we still license and use KIT?
Yes, that is of course possible. We offer support services and installation as an option or can be provided by your service provider. We are happy to provide information and case studies in a non-binding, personal meeting.
Clarity is not installed in our network, but is hosted by a service provider. Can we still use KIT?
Yes, KIT can be operated on all hosting environments. There are also some references. For details, please contact us directly.
